Lufthansa Technik Puerto Rico welcomed the first aircraft into its new facility in Aguadilla this August. The Airbus A320 from US-carrier Spirit Airlines arrived for a C-Check.

Construction began in mid November 2014, with the first of five overhaul lines now completed and operational. A second overhaul line is planned to be operational in November, with three more lines available by 2017.
